Tomas Britton Obituary

TOMAS "TOMMY" J. BRITTON

Feb. 11, 1963 – Jan. 8, 2026

Tomas "Tommy" J. Britton, age 62, passed away on January 8, 2026. Born in Frankfurt, Germany, Tommy moved to the U.S. as a young boy and was raised in Boulder City, Nevada.

Tommy was a legend in the Las Vegas valley, where he spent 40 years as a skilled craps dealer. A man of incredible work ethic, he often worked 16-hour shifts across two jobs to provide for his family. He was the only man who could look at two meatballs on a plate and instinctively shout "Snake Eyes!"

When he wasn't at the tables, Tommy was rocking out to AC/DC, watching his favorite cartoons, or hitting the golf course. He often joked that he loved golf because it made those long casino shifts feel relaxing—though his favorite part of the game was the "walk" from the golf cart to the cooler. A die-hard Nebraska Huskers fan, his "Go Big Red" spirit was his trademark.

Tommy is survived by his wife, Tracy Britton; sons Jason (Kristie), Cameron (Kendra), Joshua, and Landon; brother Bernie (Nonda); five cherished grandchildren; and his beloved fur babies. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer, and his parents, Warren "Butch" and Renata Britton.

A Casual Gathering: In keeping with Tommy's relaxed style, a very informal celebration of life will be held on his birthday, February 11, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Multi-Use Building (1204 6th Street, Boulder City). No suits or ties—please wear Nebraska red, golf attire, or your favorite rock tee. As Tommy would say, "That's all folks!"
