Shirley Jean Olson, age 92 of Boulder City, Nevada, passed away February 11, 2024. Shirley is survived by her sons: Michael (Susan), Kevin and Alan: grandchildren: Matthew, Ayla (Reggie) and Erika: great grandson Suede: Sister Doris. Shirley was born August 24, 1931 on the Family Farm near Lamberton, Minnesota. She grew up in a big family of seven children and her parents were Otto & Vera Halter. Shirley graduated from Windom High School in Minnesota and went on to become a School Teacher for a few years. In 1952 She married Glen Olson and moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota & later to St. Louis Park, Minnesota. Shirley worked at the Palms Bakery in St. Louis Park for several years. In 1980, Shirly & Glen moved to Boulder City, Nevada, where they bought & ran the Boulder Bowl for sever more years. Shirley was a Faithful member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Boulder City for 44 years. Shirley is preceded in death by husband Glen; parents Otto & Vera; brothers Harold, Loren and sisters Lorene (Hammer), Norma & Dona (Smith). A memorial service will be held Saturday March 9th 2024, at 9:30am, at Christ Lutheran Church, Boulder City, Nevada.
