Reno - Mary Murl Hill (Helms) passed December 25th, 2024 in Reno, Nevada. She is survived by her daughter Lani Kriegh (Dean), son Randy Hill (Laura), granddaughter Ava Hill, , grandchild Chris Gamba , and sister in law "Libby" Helms (Weiss).

Mary is preceded in death by her parents Gaylord and Murl Helms, son Shane Michael Hill, daughter Shannon Marie Kriegh, brother John G. Helms, and grandson Troy Michael Thomas Hill.

Mary was born in Los Angeles on June 13, 1945. Mary graduated from San Gabriel High School in Pasadena prior to moving to Boulder City. She worked at the Andrew J Mitchell Elementary and Elton M Garret Middle Schools in addition to working as a cosmetologist at Floyds Beauty Shop. After retiring from Clark County School District she started her own crafting business and became a personal care giver. Mary relocated to Reno, Nevada in 2004 after 40 years as a Boulder City resident. She was extremely fond of orchestra music, musicals and western movies.

Funeral services will be held at Boulder City Municipal Cemetery at 10:00 am, February 28, 2025. She will be laid to rest with her children Shannon and Shane.
