LYNDA MARY (BROWN) CAVE

Lynda Mary (Brown) Cave, born April 9, 1943, went to be with her Lord and Savior November 11, 2024, at the age of 81 years old. Lynda was born in Michigan, to father, Clifton John Brown and Mary Garnet (Myers) Brown, who both preceded her in death. Lynda was raised in Vista, California, and married Charles Edwin Cave on September 16, 1961. Lynda and her family moved to Boulder City, Nevada, in 1969. She was a volunteer for the Boulder City Hospital Auxiliary and belonged to the Red Hat Society and the Elks Lodge. She played on the women's softball team for years as well as an avid bowler with multiple leagues. She was also a woman of faith throughout her life. Lynda enjoyed Art in the Park, the Doodle Bug Bazar, 4th of July, and spending time with family and friends. Lynda had many different interests in playing cards, Bunco, puzzles, crafts, and water aerobics. She worked at Michaels for several years and babysat in her home. Lynda will be remembered as a devoted spouse, a loving mother, a caring grandmother, a wonderful sister, a loyal friend, and a bright light to all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Charles Cave; their daughter, Kimberly Gay (Wendell); son, Edward Cave (Sara Donmoyer); three grandchildren, Randy Rivas (Tansy), Chelsie Rivas (Joe Alexandar), Tierney Robb; one great-grandson, Logan Alexander; and sister, Judy Plew (Larry). She is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews, 20 grandnieces and nephews, and cousins. Lynda will be laid to rest at Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 10:00 AM on January 10, 2025, in a family service, followed by a celebration of life at 12:00 PM (noon) at Bethany Baptist Church.
