Henderson, NV - Joseph Alan Lusch passed away unexpectedly on December 18th, 2025, at the age of 65.

A resident of Henderson, Nevada, Joe was born on March 22nd, 1960, in Centralia, Illinois, to James and Patricia Lusch. Joe was the oldest boy and brother to 7 additional brothers and sisters.

Joe relocated to Boulder City, Nevada with his family where he graduated from Boulder City High school in 1978. He then went on to junior college that eventually led him to his long time career in facilities. Joe took on the role of both Director and Vice President of Facilities across many casino properties in the Las Vegas valley. He was well known for his passion in all things engineering and his strength in being a great leader to those around him. Joe's favorite titles were being a father and grandfather. His unwavering love for his sons was undeniable, as he was their best friend. As a grandfather, he gifted his grandchildren the kind of love that only he could offer.

All of those who knew Joe always felt his kindness radiate and he had unique way of making everyone in his life feel special. Joe was a lover of country music and you could always find him singing and dancing anytime his favorite tunes were playing. He was the man you could always count on to give a helping hand or a silly joke to lighten the day. He never missed an opportunity to be surrounded by his family or the chance to catch up with a friend.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, James and Patricia Lusch, and sister, Tina Lusch. Joe was survived by his 3 sons, Joseph (Tashina) Lusch, Cory (Kristen) Lusch, Thomas Kanski; grandchildren, David, Joseph, Taylor, Tarynn, Emma, and Kallie; three brothers (Rodger, Robbie, and Jeff); three sisters (Cheryl, Terry, and Marianne); and several nieces and nephews. Joe will be deeply missed by his family, whose lives will never be the same without his presence, and remembered in every aspect as the greatest friend.

A celebration of life will be held for Joe on February 15th, 2026, in Boulder City at the Multi Use Building - located at 1204 6th Street - from 12pm to 5pm.
