CHARLOTTE ANN TALLAS

Charlotte Ann Tallas, a beloved resident of Boulder City, NV since 1994, passed away peacefully on August 10th, 2024, at the age of 62, surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, Charlotte was captivated by Boulder City's charm, strong sense of community, and scenic beauty, knowing it was the perfect place to raise her family. After the passing of her husband, George H. Castro, in 1996, she continued to raise their four sons with unwavering love and strength. She was an adventurous spirit who love people and the world around her. Alongside her devoted partner, Ray, Charlotte crisscrossed America on the back of a Harley, embracing the open road and all the wonders it had to offer. From breathtaking landscapes to small-town charms, historical landmarks to hidden gems, charlottes travels were nothing short of epic. If there was a road to ride, a story to hear, or a place to explore, they were there, making memories that would last a lifetime. Charlotte's hobbies reflected her love of life and people- whether sewing, creating unique art pieces, listening to music, cooking, baking, or spending quality time with her family and friends. Her grandchildren were among her greatest joys, and frequently visited them out of state, never missing an opportunity to send gift boxes and home-baked cookies for every occasion and Holiday. Charlotte was a woman of immense strength and compassion. Despite battling cancer since 2003, she maintained a positive attitude and lived life to its fullest until her final days. Even in the face of her own challenges, Charlotte never hesitated to help others, offering a home to those in need and always knowing when someone simply needed a hug or kind words. Her loving and generous spirit touched everyone who knew her, and she will be dearly missed. Charlotte is survived by her loving and dedicated partner, Ray A. Blair; her sons Garrett Castro and his wife Sweet Helda, Logan Castro, Dillon Castro, and Andrew Castro; her stepson Evan Blair; her cherished grandchildren, Rowan Castro and Everett Castro; and her beloved pet cat Ziggie.
