Carol Lee Barrett Obituary

Carol Lee (Sebade) Barrett, 80, of Boulder City, NV, passed away on 28 May 2024 while spending time with her family in Kerrville, TX. Carol was born on 10 July 1943 in Wall, South Dakota, to Dayton C and Marvel (Kellum) Sebade, where she lived through High School.

Carol enjoyed most of her young adult life as a military spouse, traveling to Japan and numerous locations in the US. She later joined the casino and food service industry with management positions in Deadwood, South Dakota, Elko and Laughlin, Nevada.

She joined the Benevolent and Protective order of Elks in 2017. She was a dedicated and loyal member, being named "Elk of the Year" in 2019. She was also devoted to the Veterans Bingo project at the Boulder City Veterans Hospital.

Carol had a zest for life and lived it well. Her smile was contagious, and she was loved by all.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvel and Dayton Sebade, and her brother Gary. She is survived by her children Scott Withers, Mark Withers, Dana (Withers) Adams and Tom Withers, as well as 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Services will be held at the Boulder City Elks Lodge on 20 Jun '24 at 1 pm.
