Las Vegas, NV - Candy Terrell Nix passed away 3/21/2024 with her daughters at her side. She was a resident of Boulder City for over 30 years and while motherhood was her primary occupation, she also ran a retail shop for a brief time, enjoyed being a BC crossing guard for a few years, and even helped other elderly people in need by doing odd jobs well into her "retirement" years. Her vibrant spirit was undeniable and her love for her friends and family never-ending. She adored children and animals and will be missed by all. Candy leaves behind her husband Michael Nix; her daughters Clancy Slater, Henasy Gandi, and Aubany Glancz; her stepson Mike Nix; her sons in law Karl Jessen and Gil Glancz; and her grandchildren Micah Rickard, Gavin Glancz, and Alexandra Glancz. Per request of the deceased, there will be no services. Candy wanted to be remembered as a firecracker - captivating with it's fleeting beauty and reminding us to treasure every moment.
