BRIANNE ALANA PERKINS

Brianne Alana Perkins was born on January 18th, 1988 in Ely, Nevada and returned to heaven on June 19th, 2025 due to complications of a spinal cord injury. She was a beloved daughter, sister, auntie, and friend to all. She was known for her selflessness and her immediate willingness to help others.

This was demonstrated in 2009 when she suffered catastrophic injuries while helping at the scene of a car accident, leaving her paralyzed. Fighting the odds, she survived to graduate from SUU just weeks later from her hospital bed in the ICU summa cum laude and criminal justice student of the year. Despite her physical limitations, in 2017, she graduated from UNLV Law School with her juris doctorate.

Brianne was passionate about human rights, music, disability law, sports, and giving fishy kisses to her nieces and nephew.

She was known for her bright smile, sense of humor, determination, and positive attitude during her years of insurmountable struggles.

Funeral services will be June 27th, 2025 at 10am at the LDS Church at 1550 Buchanan Boulevard, Boulder City, NV 89005, where we will celebrate her spirit. There will not be a graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation.
