Blaine Murray Voels Obituary

Blaine Voels passed away peacefully in his bed at home in Anniston Alabama, Friday January 12, 2024. Blaine was born in St James, Minnesota on October 6th, 1957. He worked construction for over 40 years. Most of those years were as a heavy equipment operator. Blaine worked all over the southwest, with over 25 years in the Las Vegas valley area. He loved being outdoors, camping, off -roading, and hunting. He was long time resident of Boulder City and recently retired to Alabama. In retirement Blaine enjoyed raising farm animals with his wife Lyn on their green acres farm. He will be missed but not forgotten.

He is survived by his mother Marlene Simpson; his wife Lyn; his children Derek Voels & his wife Shawn, Shasta Thompson & her husband Cory, Melissa Staheli & her husband Roy, Autumn Leal & her husband Rafael , his two stepdaughters Tiffany Bushey and her husband Dennis, Cherida Williams; his 12 grandchildren: Adrian, Tristen, AJ, Taylor, Cody, River, Lyden, Nayelli, Faith, Nathan, Riley, and Colton along with 2 great-grandchildren Issabella and Darius; Surviving siblings are Michelle Owens and Wes Voels. He was preceded in death by his father Carl Voels.

Blaine will be cremated, and his ashes will reside at Boulder City Municipal Cemetery in Boulder City Nevada.
