Boulder City, NV - Billie Dean Roberts

Billie Dean Roberts, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2026, at the age of 90.

Billie was born in Oklahoma and came to California when she was just one month old. After spending most of her life in California, she enjoyed her later years in Boulder City, Nevada.

Billie was preceded in death by her father, William; her mother, Ruby; her sister, Patsy; and her beloved husband, Hill.

Together, Billie and Hill raised five children: Michael, Daniel, John, Sandra, and James. She was also blessed with her daughters-in-law, Janet, Maureen, and Andrea, and her son-in-law, Matthew.

Billie was the proud grandmother of eight grandchildren: Joshua, Amanda, Katie, Nick, Frances, Alburt Leejoy, Madeleine, and Shyanne. She was also the cherished great-grandmother of Forest, Emily, and Allison.

Billie loved spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed playing poker, video Keno, and Buffalo slots at Dotty's with her friends. Those moments of fun, laughter, and companionship brought her great joy.

An avid reader throughout her life, Billie's favorite novel was For Whom the Bell Tolls by Ernest Hemingway.

In Billie's own words:

They toll for me today. I have not been cheated I've lived a long life and loved it. A loving goodbye to all my children, grand children and friends. I love you all and was so blessed to have you in my life. Now I'm off to somewhere over the rainbow. The door to my earthly cage is open, I am free to dance and sing among the stars.

My favorite poem, The Winds of Fate by Ella Wheeler Wilcox:

One ship drives east, another drives west.

With the same self winds that blow,

Like the winds of the sea are the ways of fate,

As we voyage along through life.
