BARBARA LOUISE KELLER BUDD

Boulder City, NV – Barbara Louise Keller Budd, 92, passed away quietly on Monday, April 29, 2024 at Lakeview Terrace in Boulder City, NV. She was born July 10, 1931 in South Bend, Indiana to Clarence Ercle Keller and Sylvia Creola Beatty. She was the youngest of three siblings. She married Robert Burdet Budd on January 28,1951 at the Methodist Church of South Bend, Indiana. They were later sealed in the Los Angeles temple on April 19,1975. They lived in Indiana on the farm until 1964 when they relocated to Chatsworth, California for the next 14 years. In 1981, they retired and moved to Boulder City, Nevada where together they ran a very successful business, Budd Appliance Service. Their generosity was unprecedented as they were known for "no charge" service calls for single mothers and widows. It was in Boulder City where Barbara and Bob adopted the Tobler family as their own as well as cared for anyone in need. This is how Barbara earned the name Grandma Budd as she attended all of the Tobler family events. Barbara was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She enjoyed genealogy work and yearly trips to the Genealogy Center in Salt Lake City, UT with her friends. She moved to Iowa for a few years where she made beautiful friends who quickly became family to her. Barbara was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, grandmother figure, and friend who will always be remembered for her caring nature and love for those around her. She is survived by her adopted family: Clare and Kaye Tobler, Bill and Amy Tobler, Doug and Pam Honey, Jerry and Kristin Torgesen, all of Boulder City, and Ric and Rusti Bignami, North Rialto, CA She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Budd, her parents, Clarence Ercle Keller and Sylvia Creola Beatty, and her siblings Virginia Evelyn Keller and Clarence Homer Keller. Funeral and Graveside Services will be held Friday, June 14, 2024 at 1:20 at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery located at 1900 Veterans Memorial Dr., Boulder City, Nevada 89005.
