Anita was born in Birmingham England at the time of rations and bomb raids. She excelled at dancing and came to the United States to continue her career as a professional Ballroom dancer and instructor. Here she met her would be family to include her future husband. They added a daughter to the family, and then Anita went to college to become a nurse. After completing her Registered Nursing degree, Anita obtained her

Hospital Administration license and spent the rest of her career in healthcare.
