Alfred A. Radosta, 93 of Boulder City, Nevada passed away quietly May 18, 2024, surrounded by family. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Norma, his devoted daughter Violet (Dan) of Las Vegas, NV, daughter-in-law Kathy (Jon) Omaha, NE, brother-in-law Frank (Edie), sister Barbara, and granddaughters Kate (Aaron) and Caroline. Al was preceded in death by his beloved son U.S. Naval Cmdr. Charles (Kathy), his son-in-law Dan (Violet), his brother Charles, and brothers-in-law Eddie and Herbert aka Snook (Barbara).
Al was born in Riverside, Il. After attending Purdue University, Al flew P-51s for the U.S. Air Force in Korea during the Korean War. Following that experience, Al was hired and worked for Northwest Orient Airlines at Mpls/St. Paul Airport for close to 35 years. Upon retiring, Al and Norma spent a few more winters in Minnesota before relocating to Boulder City, NV in 1996. Once they moved, Al and Norma enjoyed traveling by car and did so extensively seeing much of the Western United States. Throughout his life, Al enjoyed model airplane building and flying. He was also an extremely accomplished furniture designer and builder. In addition, Al loved oil painting landscapes and was incredibly talented. Most of Al's family and friends have at least one of his paintings in their homes. Services will be later this year in Montello, WI.
