Boulder City, NV - Adelina Sutherland peacefully passed away on July 29, 2024, at Sunrise Senior Facility in Henderson, NV. She was born February 2, 1933, in Del Rio, TX. She married Robert C. Sutherland on April 10, 1961, at Laughlin Air Force Base, TX. They enjoyed 46 wonderful years of marriage, living in various US states and the Philippines before moving to Boulder City, NV in 2001. She is survived by her children: Jose Sutherland (Jane), Marla Hromada (Thomas), LC Garcia (Leo), and Robert Sutherland Jr. (Rochelle); grandchildren: Rochelle (Karl), Madison (Bryan), Grant, Jesse, Jacob, Evan (Nikayla), Alexis (Keenan), Avalon, and Rio; great-grandchildren: Garrick, Jayden, Serene, Gwenevere, Gabriel, Graceson, Hope, Faith, Amelia, and Otto; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Adelina, a devoted gardener and avid Golden Knights supporter, was a Spanish Pastor at Echoes of Faith Church in Las Vegas, NV, where her ministry impacted many. She devoted her life to spreading God's Word through missionary work in Texas and Mexico. As a volunteer chaplain at Clark County Jail and a fervent Prayer Warrior, her faith and compassion were evident to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert, her mother Maria, father Buenaventura, and sisters Esperanza Flores (Arturo), Alicia Reyes (Jejo), and Eleana Hipolito (Chuy). Adelina's family and friends take comfort in knowing she is now in eternal peace with Jesus. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith" 2 Timothy 4:7

Viewing will be 9:00am, Friday, August 23, 2024, at Bunker Eden's Vale Mortuary, 925 North Las Vegas Boulevard, Las Vegas, NV 89101, with a funeral service to follow at 10:00am. A brief graveside service will take place at 12noon at the Southern Nevada Veterans Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Dr., Boulder City, NV 89005.
